Flight training

Jukolan Pilotit ry has trained private pilots (PPL) since 1980, and throughout its history the club has been one of Finland's most active training clubs. Training is run by the club's own, experienced flight instructors.

ATO

Jukolan Pilotit ry is an Approved Training Organisation (ATO). Beyond basic training, we offer more advanced courses, including aerobatics, a basic instrument rating, and type training on a complex aircraft.

Basic training

Private Pilot Licence (PPL)

The Private Pilot Licence is completed on the club's training aircraft under an approved syllabus. Training covers both flight instruction and theory, which the club runs regularly as theory courses.

Advanced training

Night rating (NF)

The club runs night flying courses, with both theory and flight portions, for members who already hold a licence.

Advanced training

Aerobatics training

Aerobatics theory courses and flight training on the club's aerobatic-capable aircraft, led by experienced aerobatics instructors.

Advanced training

Basic Instrument Rating (BIR)

Instrument flight training that gives you the skills to fly safely in poorer visibility and in cloud.

Advanced training

FI / IRI refresher seminar

The flight instructor refresher seminar is mandatory training for aviation instructors to keep their flight instructor rating valid. We organise the refresher seminar for our members each spring.

Complex Type training

Differences training: Debonair

Our Beechcraft Debonair offers pilots the opportunity to undertake complex / high performance training. With retractable gear, variable pitch prop and a 6-cylinder IO-470 engine, cruising in excess of 140 knots the Debonair brings a new dimension to your flying and airmanship. To fly PIC requires at least 100 hrs of flying experience, club membership and differences training.
