Who can join the club? Anyone interested in flying, regardless of age or experience. Many members join before earning a licence and train through the club. See the membership instructions.
Do I need a licence already? No. The club also trains from scratch — see the training page for more on PPL training.

Flying and the fleet
Can I fly right after joining? Flying solo in the club’s aircraft requires a valid licence and a club check-out flight with an instructor. The exact process is described on the membership page.
What aircraft does the club have? From trainers to an aerobatic aircraft — the full fleet with registrations is listed on the aircraft page.
Can I do more than basic flying at the club? Yes. Aerobatics, night rating training, and a Basic Instrument Rating (BIR) are all offered — see the training page.
Getting started
I’ve never flown before — where should I start? The best way is to book a trial flight with an experienced instructor. It doesn’t commit you to anything and gives you a good feel for what flying at the club is like.

How often does the club meet or hold events? The club has plenty going on all year round — work parties, seminars, and group flights. Upcoming events are listed in the event calendar and under News.
