Dreaming of flying but not sure if it’s for you? A trial flight is the easiest way to find out what it actually feels like to sit behind the controls — safely, and under the guidance of an experienced flight instructor.
What’s included
- A short pre-flight briefing at the field covering the aircraft, safety, and how the flight will go.
- About 20–30 minutes of flying in one of the club’s training aircraft around Hyvinkää (EFHV).
- A chance to take the controls yourself under the instructor’s supervision, weather and circumstances permitting.
- A follow-up chat where you can ask freely about PPL training and club life.
No prior experience is needed, and a trial flight doesn’t require joining the club.
How to book
Trial flights are scheduled around the club’s flight instructors’ availability, mainly in weather that allows a safe VFR flight. Get in touch and agree on a suitable time:
Let us know your preferred timing, and whether you’re especially interested in PPL training, aerobatics, or something else the club does — that way we can match you with the right instructor.
If you get hooked
Many people who’ve done a trial flight have gone straight on to PPL training or joined the club as members. A trial flight doesn’t commit you to anything — it’s simply the best way to answer the question “would this be for me?”.
This page describes how a trial flight works; the exact price and availability are confirmed when you get in touch.
